In the 1960's most families in my home town had two sources to play music in the home. One was the family radio that would play the Columbus stations WCOL1230 or WTVN 610. The other was the Stereo console that was in most of my friends living rooms. The Stereo console was the only way to play music on demand. You could wait for hours or days to hear your favorite song on the radio. Spin the album on your turntable and you could hear your personal choice at your choosing.
